Which vehicle should I choose: Mercedes Vito, V-Class or VLE?
Choose according to how the vehicle will be used. Vito is the flexible multi-purpose option, V-Class starts from a more premium passenger specification, and VLE is the fully electric Grand Limousine. Ertex compares passenger count, luggage, destination and travel pattern before proposing the platform.
Does Ertex install folding seats?
No. Ertex only plans seating around secure, approved mounting points. Folding systems that do not satisfy the required Mercedes-Benz safety and homologation criteria are not used.
Can the original Vito or V-Class roof be cut and raised?
No. Cutting and lifting the original roof is not approved by Mercedes-Benz and does not meet the required safety and homologation route, so Ertex does not perform this modification.
Should I choose a long or extra-long Mercedes Vito or V-Class?
Both lengths can be designed. Extra-long is usually the better starting point when rear legroom and luggage capacity are priorities; the final recommendation still depends on passenger count and daily use.
What is the Mercedes VLE?
VLE is Mercedes-Benz's fully electric Grand Limousine platform, combining a generous passenger cabin with electric propulsion and a new basis for executive, family and private travel.
What is the difference between VLE, V-Class and Vito?
VLE is fully electric, V-Class is the premium conventional passenger platform, and Vito is the flexible van offered in several base specifications. The right choice follows the intended use, market, passenger and luggage requirements.
Which uses can Ertex personalise a Mercedes VLE for?
A VLE project may prioritise executive travel, family journeys, a private lounge, mobile work or VIP shuttle service. Seating, privacy, storage, materials and technology are balanced for that purpose.
How are VLE pricing and delivery timing defined?
Price and timing follow the approved design scope, equipment, materials and destination requirements. Typical delivery is around 15–45 days once the specification is confirmed.
How do VLE production, testing and homologation progress?
The cabin is developed within Ertex's tested and homologated production approach. The exact vehicle specification and destination requirements are reviewed before production, with the usual delivery window varying by equipment.
Do Mercedes Vito, V-Class or VLE have a Maybach model?
No. Mercedes-Benz does not produce factory Mercedes-Maybach versions of Vito, V-Class or VLE. These are bespoke Ertex interior projects based on the selected Mercedes-Benz platform.
