Our story
From one photograph to a Gulf showroom
Ertex traces back to 1989, when founder Ercan Malkoç saw a magazine photograph of a stretched limousine and decided Turkey should have coachbuilt interiors of the same standard. A single conversion project grew into a dedicated design and engineering house that still runs on the same rule it started with: study how people actually sit, work and travel inside a vehicle, and draw the interior outward from that, rather than from a styling sketch.
Three decades on, the company is led by founder Ercan Malkoç alongside board chair Salih Malkoç, and that same workshop discipline now travels beyond Turkey and Germany to Dubai — applied to vehicles specified for Gulf clients from the first sketch, not retrofitted after the fact.
